History of the Hyundai i20 car
Hyundai manufactured two generations and one remake version of the model. In 2008, the first generation was showcased at the Paris Motor Show. The design was created around the “fluidic sculpture” concept and its signature style is its smooth lines and exterior.
The manufacturer paid special attention to the safety of the car. Standard equipment included ABS, six airbags and a brake force distribution system. Hyundai i20 is also one of the safest cars around according to its crash-test in 2009.
The car underwent restyling in 2012 and its headlights sported a stylish shape that was smaller in dimensions. The fog lights were made of triangles and framed by LED day running lights. The radiator grill was made smaller. The narrow strips of reflectors were set above the rear bumper.
